About this assessment
The PTSD Checklist for DSM-5 looks at common reactions after something very stressful, such as an accident, assault, loss or disaster. Think of the experience that troubles you most. You won't be asked to describe it.
Before you start
- Below is a list of problems people sometimes have in response to a very stressful experience. Choose how much you have been bothered by each one in the past month.
- There are no right or wrong answers — go with your first instinct.
- Your answers are saved to your account. You decide whether to share them with your therapist.
This is a screening questionnaire, not a diagnosis. If you’re in crisis, get immediate support.
